Woodmill Coffee Kitchen sits beside the River Itchen at Woodmill, right on the edge of Riverside Park. We’re an independent café serving breakfast, brunch, coffee, cake and light lunches in one of the most distinctive spots in Southampton.

 

This is a place to slow down a little. Join us for a flat white before a walk, settle in for brunch with friends, or stop by after time on the water. With the river just outside and green space all around, WCK feels a world away from the rush of town while still being easy to reach.

 

Our menu changes with the seasons and focuses on fresh, homemade food that feels generous, relaxed and properly satisfying. Expect breakfast and brunch favourites, daily bakes, good coffee, and dishes built around quality local ingredients. We’re proud to work with suppliers including Deveroast for coffee and Owton’s for meat.

 

Woodmill is also a natural base for a day outdoors. Bargeman’s Walk starts and ends nearby, Riverside Park stretches out in both directions, and The SUP Company is right next door for paddleboarding demos, advice and events. That means WCK works just as well for a quick coffee stop as it does for a longer, destination-style visit.
